/usr/share/applications/firefox.desktop has the wrong exec line. It should be pointing to /usr/bin/firefox instead.

There's a bug tracker at: http://bugs.archbsd.net/
/usr/bin/firefox is a symlink to /usr/lib/firefox/firefox, and the .desktop file points to the /usr/lib path in ArchLinux, too.
Do you have any specific reason for this to be changed?

Thanks! I had no idea cause when I tried to report a bug on the ArchBSD package website, it took me to Arch Linux's bug tracker.

My change to firefox.desktop was already merged in ArchBSD ABS. The issue with the exec line in firefox.desktop is that it didn't load firefox.
Also, the firefox package is out of date (even though its PKGBUILD from ABS is.

Ah thanks. Looks like there are still some wrong links around.

This seems odd. As they're the same file...

I know. It's just that building firefox is a PITA ![]()

I'll gladly rebuild it, cause it's firefox 23.0 now.

I checked the ABS and it seems that my change was committed.
