I know. It's just that building firefox is a PITA

I'll gladly rebuild it, cause it's firefox 23.0 now.

This seems odd. As they're the same file...

I checked the ABS and it seems that my change was committed.

<![CDATA[[xorg]keyboard (solved)]]>

@lekaf974
glad to hear it's solved.
If you don't mind, can you please post a small how-you-arrived at your solution ? ... so others can gain from this as well.

I create a new xorg.conf file and move it in /usr/local/etc/X11/ folder, then I modify the keyboard's section.

# X -configure
# cp xorg.conf.new /usr/local/etc/X11/

The reading of the /var/log/Xorg0.log file tells me that the X server didn't add my configuration, the server layout loaded <default keyboard> and not "keyboard" in the 10-keyboard.conf I created. I didn't make more search because I didn't have much time but I'll find how it can be ok without create a xorg.conf file when I'm less busy.

P.S : I do not usually write in English so excuse me if this is a bit messy (it's good for me !).
