<![CDATA[mirrorlist?]]> Yes we're alive, just not much on the forum. What do you mean by "just change my mirrors"? If you mean starting from an ArchLinux then no, as we're a FreeBSD distribution running a FreeBSD kernel and userland, so you have to start with the iso/img.
The last image is a bit old though and still uses x86_64 as the arch. We're renaming to amd64 to make maintenance a bit easier as that's what FreeBSD uses and configure scripts all around expect there. Once that's done there should be a new image, too.

<![CDATA[Desktop sysctl tuneables]]> There are a few sysctl settings set by default, but it's best to leave these for the user to tweak. When things are fine with the base and the website has switched to the new one. I'm going to focuses on writing in depth documentation.

<![CDATA[Download archBSD - no mirrors]]> Well a new website is being worked on currently, so the dead links probably won't get fixed on the current site, but will be fixed when we move over to the new site.

<![CDATA[Very Slow Networking -->> ArchBSD-x86_64-20140904.img]]> Hi,
I was download and boot with ArchBSD-x86_64-20140904.img.
But, when I boot it, it ping 8.8.8.8 very slow with interrupts!
Does ArchBSD must be installed to HDD for good working?

<![CDATA[[SOLVED] Xinit: unable to connect to X server & (EE) no screens found]]> Everything should work now. The FreeBSD specific patches weren't applied to xf86-video-ati while they were present in the PKGBUILD, so it got overlooked.

Xorg has been upgraded to 1.16.0, and mesa to 10.2.5

You can test / try them out by enabling testing.

dri3 support is now enabled, and libdevq has been added into the repository.

<![CDATA[got errors]]> This issue seems to be reproducible when pacstrapping, then pacstrapping again. I also encountered this and just started cleanly. I can't remember the exact issue off the top of my head, but I added arch-chroot to the latest iso which can help working around the issue by creating a jail and logging in. The issue lies in the pacstrap script which is going to get rewrote anyways, as it messes up when run twice consecutively after a first failed pacstrap. I should be back home tomorrow to add a new pacstrap script to the issue to fix these issues.

<![CDATA[Can't create /mnt/arch (mkdir: /mnt/arch: Read-only file system)]]> /mnt is read only on the iso, but it is read/write on the usb image. If you're using the iso just mount the drive to /mnt instead of /mnt/arch or you can use an alternative directory like /tmp/arch as tmp is read/write on both.

<![CDATA[what opportunities can archBSD offer to a fresh graduate like me??]]> Start fleshing out the wiki and fuzzing the system I guess. Test all the bugs you can find and report back on your findings along with relevant configurations.
